Mayabel Movement Int Cameroon has a huge passion for cancer patients and this lady right here is currently battling with eye cancer.
While 3 months pregnant, she was diagnosed with headache and after several medical checkups, it was discovered to be eye cancer and the doctor had to remove her baby earlier than the usual procedure so she could commence treatment for her eyes. She and her family has spent so much money and now are soliciting help from the public.
Her mobile money account details is attached on the video screen (+237-671-578-055) name: Yah Gidrian. Please let’s make Yah back to normal again.

THE MAYABEL STEAM GIRLS GLOBAL NETWORK IS HERE
Launching May 23, 2026

What if a girl in Cameroon could learn alongside a girl in India?
What if a young scientist in Nigeria could represent Africa in Canada?
What if STEAM had no borders — only sisters?
That is the MAYABEL STEAM GIRLS GLOBAL NETWORK.
What We Are
A worldwide platform for girls aged 8–15 who are ready to claim their place in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
Not a local club. Not a one-time workshop.
A global network that grows with you, travels with you, and opens doors you did not know existed.
Why This Matters
Because brilliance is everywhere. Opportunity is not.
Because a girl with a smartphone in rural Cameroon should have the same shot as a girl with a laptop in urban India.
Because girls belong in labs, in code, in engineering, in art, in space.
Because when we connect girls across countries, we change what they believe is possible.
What You Get
Hands-on STEAM activities in your own community
Free access to MAYABEL events anywhere in the world
Scholarship opportunities — funded by Mayabel Movement International
International travel — brilliant girls selected to represent their countries globally
A membership card + T-shirt that says you belong
A sisterhood that spans continents
$5/year membership. That is the cost of commitment. Everything else is possibility.
From India, China, Sweden, South Africa, Uganda, Nigeria and From Everywhere.
To girls in India: Your innovations deserve a global stage. Share them. Learn from Africa. Teach the world.
To girls in Cameroon, Nigeria, and across Africa: Your voice matters. Your solutions matter. Let us take you further.
To communities everywhere: Partner with us. Bring your girls into the MAYABEL STEAM GIRLS GLOBAL NETWORK.
How to Join
1. Find a partner organization in your community (like Royalty World in Cameroon — more coming soon!)
2. Register with $5 — get your card and T-shirt
3. Start learning, connecting, and growing
4. Watch for global events — attend free
5. Shine bright enough, and we will help you travel

JUSTICE FOR DIVINE MBARGA ATANGANA 🕯️💔
I am beyond devastated. How do we explain to our children that the world is a safe place when a 11-year-old girl goes to a friend's house to study and never comes home?
The details coming out of Nkoabang, Yaoundé, Cameroon 🇨🇲 are horrific. Divine went to her friend's house to study. In the course of studing with her friend, 11 years old Divine was allegedly violated (r@ped ) and murd6red by her friend's father.
Divine screamed for help but no one came to her rescue.
These reports of screams heard for hours while no one moved to help are a piercing indictment of our collective silence.
This isn't an isolated tragedy. Just days ago in Bamenda, a 9-year-old was victimized (r@ped) by a man.
We are facing a crisis of safety, a crisis of conscience, and a crisis of humanity.
When a father of three, someone with children of his own can commit such an act, we must admit that there is a deep evil in the land that requires more than just prayers.
It requires a cleansing of our systems and our culture.
I have been asking myself this question,
WHERE CAN OUR GIRLS AND WOMEN BE SAFE?
They are not safe in schools, not safe in the streets, and now, not even in the homes where they go to study.
WE MUST TAKE ACTION NOW
⛔️ End the Silence. If you hear screams, act. If you see red flags, speak. Neutrality only helps the oppressor.
⚖️ Demand Maximum Justice. We call on the authorities in Cameroon to ensure the suspect faces the full weight of the law. No leniency. No delays.
🔱 Protect the Vulnerable. We must move from "awareness" to "protection." We need stricter community oversight and faster emergency responses.
🚰 Community Cleansing. We must stop shielding predators because they are "fathers," "neighbors," "family members ", "colleagues", "partners " or "friends."
Divine had her whole life ahead of her.
Her neck was broken, her body discarded, and her future stolen.
All what Divine wanted to do was to study with her friend.
Is that too much to ask for?
Do we need to carry our children everywhere we go before they are safe?
We cannot let her name be just another hashtag.
We demand Justice ⚖️
Rest in peace, Divine. We will not stop speaking until your name brings change. 🕊️🇨🇲

February 11th is celebrated as International Day of Women and Girls in Science (IDWGIS)🇨🇲
Empowering Girls in STEAM Across Cameroon
Today, we celebrate the strength, intelligence, and potential of women and girls in science and STEAM education across Cameroon and beyond.
At Mayabel Movement Int Cameroon, empowering girls through education is a core mission.
Through our flagship initiative MMI Girls Rising, we are taking the lead in Cameroon by encouraging girls to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) — especially in communities where access and representation remain limited.
Meet Ebun, a 10-year-old aspiring scientist.
Like many girls in Cameroon, Ebun is curious, talented, and full of dreams. She wants to use science to solve problems in her community and contribute to national development.
Through MMI Girls Rising, girls like Ebun are supported with mentorship, learning opportunities, and the confidence to believe that science is also for them.
When Cameroonian girls rise in science, Cameroon rises.
Investing in girls’ education today means building stronger schools, healthier communities, and a more innovative future.
On this International Day of Women and Girls in Science, MMI reaffirms its commitment in Cameroon to:
Promoting girls’ participation in STEAM education
Supporting young girls early, especially at the basic education level
Inspiring the next generation of Cameroonian women scientists and innovators
Happy International Day of Women and Girls in Science
