Kingdom Citizenship



Today we were reminded of a powerful truth: we must become Kingdom citizens to manifest the Kingdom of Heaven. No one can express the Kingdom of God without first belonging to it.

📖 1 Thessalonians 1:12



To become a Kingdom citizen, we must first receive Jesus Christ and grow in the knowledge of Him. 🙌🏽

👑 Why is all power given to Jesus?

📖 Colossians 2:9

Jesus is the King, and there is no kingdom without a king. When we have Jesus, we have the fullness of the Godhead, because all of God dwells in Him bodily.



🌿 Our life in Christ

📖 John 15:4–5

Just as the branches carry the life of the vine, believers carry the life of Christ. We are one with Him, and therefore the attributes of the King should be evident in His citizens.



⚠️ When a Christian neglects the Word of God, he becomes a spiritual casualty.



📜 The law of the Lord is the life of God communicated to His citizens. This is God’s desire—that we pay attention to the life of the Kingdom.

📖 Ephesians 3:14–17

When the Word dwells in you, Christ dwells in you. And where Christ dwells, the life and power of the Kingdom are made manifest. 🔥🕊️

🔥TOPIC: THE KINGDOM OF GOD VS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN🔥

TEXT: MATTHEW 10:1(And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.)

The kingdom of God speaks of the life of God in men while the kingdom of heaven talks of the acts of God through men
So, manifestation the kingdom of heaven is manifesting the power of God, and the manifestation of the kingdom of heaven draws men to the kingdom of God (The life of God)

Beloved, the truth is the world needs the manifestation of God’s power, Jesus gave his disciples power to cast out unclean spirits and now God is looking for men who can avail themselves as vessels to manifest his power

Question is, who can manifest the kingdom of heaven??

-Matthew 5:3 (NLT) God blesses those who realize the need for him, for theirs is the kingdom of God.
In other words, for you to manifest the kingdom of heaven;
you must have this burning desire for God
Always seeing yourself as one who can’t do without God

YOU LACK ONE THING 🙏

Text: Mark 10:17-22 🙏 Jesus tells the young man that to inherit eternal life, he must sell all he has, give to the poor, and follow him 🙌. The young man walks away sad, unable to part with his wealth 😔.

Wow, that's a convicting story 🤯. The rich young ruler seemed like he was on the right track, but his unwillingness to let go of his wealth had him tied down 🔒. It's crazy to think that something good like wealth and success can become an idol in our lives, isn't it? 🤔

Jesus' words are a reminder that to lay hold of eternal life requires surrender 🙏. Surrender of our possessions, our plans, our desires, our will, etc. 📝 You can’t go after eternal life casually and lay hold of it 🚫.

So, what is that thing that is standing as a barrier? 🤔 Surrender it today 🙏

Topic: Excelling in service

To excel, is to do something better than you’ve always done; irrespective of the challenges
and service, means to offer yourself to do something for God or someone as instructed despite the challenges .
So how do we excel in service ⁉️❔
To excel in service, you must first of all offer yourself to God, you must set yourself apart for God
(Take this seriously)
We can see clearly that even Jesus being God,set himself apart for the will of the father (John 6:38 explains more ✅)
-Jesus was sent by the father to do his will and having being given that responsibility, he offered himself as a servant (Phil 2:6)
We see Jesus giving himself completely to the Will of the father, Serving the father and humanity (Phil 2:5-8). All of this is because;He had the mindset of a servant
So , if you must excel in service, you must have the mind of a servant,offering yourself completely and be willing to do the will of the father till the very end 👌✅

EHPESIANS 6:10: Finally my brethren be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might

We are called upon to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.Meaning as a Christian,you need to deepen your roots in God, you need to build your muscles in the Lord through prayers and fast.

Prayer and fasting brings you to a close relationship with God and the more you get intimate with God, you operate in faith.The depth of which you know God determines the level of things you can handle for him .

A life of prayer is a defense but a prayer less life is a trap.There are certain things in your life and family that will never give way untill you give yourself to prayer and fasting (MARK9:29).

When you are strong in the Lord,you don’t react foolishly to circumstances but rather you react to what God is saying in those circumstances .
When you are strong in the Lord you can’t fall victim to the devices of the evil one cus you have on you the whole amour of God which gives you the ability to stand and overcome (Ephesians 6:10:18).

People of God, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might and your life will never remain thesame 🧏‍♀️🧏‍♀️
