📊 Confimarket at HackCanton: Project Results

⚡️ The hackathon is in full swing, and the Confimarket team is hard at work on our product. We're building a next-generation prediction market infrastructure – one that's more secure, scalable, and tailored for institutional capital.

We're creating a platform for forecasters, traders, and institutional players who want to treat prediction markets like real financial instruments – complete with hedging, advanced strategies, and wealth management.

Right now, the market is pretty limited in this regard: existing solutions are either too centralized or completely open. The former lacks flexibility and trust, while the latter sacrifices privacy and data control. As a result, it's hard for big capital to enter this space.

✍️ We're solving this through the Canton Network – an infrastructure that bridges traditional finance and Web3, allowing users to interact with decentralized systems without losing control over their data.

🔥 This is the foundation Confimarket is built on. It's a prediction market where both retail traders and institutional players can comfortably step in without sacrificing privacy or efficiency.

📌 What have we accomplished so far?

▶️ Completely rewrote the platform's internal architecture.
▶️ Created our own intermediate token system – similar to CTF tokens on Polymarket.
▶️ Developed and launched our own explorer.

Essentially, we aren't just building a product for participating in prediction markets. We're building the infrastructure that makes it possible for institutional capital to enter the space – bringing volume, liquidity, and a level of trust that matches traditional financial markets.

📌 The prediction market sector is already massive and keeps growing:

▶️ $27.7-29.8 billion in monthly volume (+10% average annual growth);
▶️192 million transactions per month;
▶️ 800,000 monthly active users;
▶️ $1 billion in open interest.

⚡️ Our goal is to capture a significant share of this market, starting at 1%+, and build a sustainable product and ecosystem on this foundation.

Confimarket at HackCanton

While Alexey Ognev and Alexander I are in South Africa expanding DigiU – meeting with local companies and institutions, and exploring financial licensing and educational course accreditation – the Confimarket team isn't standing still.

As a reminder, Confimarket is a decentralized prediction market on the Canton Network, where the community:

▶️ generates analytics;
▶️ becomes a collective market intelligence tool.

HackCanton isn't your typical weekend hackathon – it's 30 days of structured work. Participants attend workshops, talk with mentors, get feedback from the organizers, and bring their ideas to life as working products.

The hackathon is organized by Noders on the Canton Network – a blockchain platform for financial applications and institutional use.

The Confimarket team from the WebWise Capital fund is currently in an active development phase: fine-tuning on-chain betting mechanics and the issuance of intermediary tokens. The product already has real users, its first deposits, and support from the hackathon organizers.
