The Ice Box Challenge in Asunción, Paraguay is in full swing! The challenge, organised by iPHA Affiliate ILAPH in collaboration with the Paraguay Green Building Council, is currently taking place on the Shopping the Sol esplanade, where the remaining ice will be revealed on March 29.

From March 19 to March 29, 2025, our affiliate ILAPH invites you to the iconic Shopping del Sol esplanade in Asunción, Paraguay! The student competition is over, and the boxes are being built.
The Ice Box Challenge, organised by the Paraguay Green Building Council and the Latin American Passivhaus Institute, is pushing the boundaries of sustainable building and challenging Paraguay's construction standards.
