It was an amazing senior season! I’m so proud of you for everything you’ve accomplished.

I still remember 4 years ago when you told me: “Dad, I want to play varsity basketball in the US 🇺🇸”….

In that moment, it seemed like a far stretch, but you put in the hours of work, sacrifice, & dedication, and you achieved what you set out to achieve.

I know HS basketball has taught you important life lessons that will help you be successful in your next stage of life.

Just know you’ve always got me in your corner. I’ll be cheering you on & enjoying all your future victories.

This week I had the honor of traveling to Peru 🇵🇪 to work with an incredible group of leaders from Grupo UNACEM!!! ( & )

I was able to share with them a few secrets to become powerful communicators & storytellers…

… and best of all, they learned “la COSA más importante” so they can craft strategic stories that will help them teach, inspire, and influence their teams.

This is why the best leaders are also the best storytellers!

If you want to be an effective communicator…🗣️

… you must learn how to tell good stories!!!

Why? 🤔

Because effective communication is based on three key principles…

1️⃣ SIMPLICITY, which is the ability to use simple and understandable language.

2️⃣ CLARITY, which is having focused goals & objectives when you communicate.

3️⃣ RELEVANCY, which is being able to generate emotions to create importance with your communication.

All three of these principles are best activated… when we tell good stories!!! 😉

Storytelling is a not a big deal! 😳

Or at least that’s what I thought when I was a kid.

You see, I started learning storytelling when I was just 7 years old. It was fun, but never did I think I’d be doing this professionally as an adult.

But now… I get to travel the world teaching other business leaders how to become great communicators & storytellers! 😎

Why?

Because 70-80% of leadership influence implies communication skills.

And the most powerful leadership communication skill we have is… STORYTELLING! 🗣️

That’s why the best leaders are usually the best storytellers (I’ve seen this over and over again).
