Life is full of contrasts: first you’re surrounded pretty much 24/7 by the best of the best people for three and a half weeks and then you drive to the middle of nowhere to be alone and recharge. Both sides are needed to stay balancend and happy, at least for me.

What a great tour we had!

17 shows done and only three more to go! This has definitely been one of the easiest tours ever as pretty much everyone from all the bands and crew knew each other already before the start. It’s not very common to get to tour with only your friends.

For me personally, this tour’s lineup is quite special one: I’ve had the privilege of playing with each of these bands over time! I joined Before The Dawn in 2011 and got to play my very first tour back then. Everything was exciting and new but I still remember how I already felt back then that touring and playing all around the globe was THE thing for me!

In the summer of 2014, I got to help my friends in Stam1na and handled the bass duties on their festival leg for 12 shows. And a few years ago, I had the honor of doing the same with Swallow the Sun: I first played a couple of gigs in Finland and later joined them on a tour in Latin America.

Better to share a bit late than never the latest update from Red Moon Architect: our 6th full-length album ”October Decay” was released last week! This time I had the chance to be part of the writing process by composing a few riffs for the songs ”In Depths” and ”In Silence”. Check out the album on all major streaming platforms and let me know what you think!

…and so the journey begins! Tonight we’re playing with Dawn of Solace here at Chollerhalle in Zug, Switzerland and after that a couple of day offs before the Shining Over Europe MMXXV tour starts.

This year, three albums will be released that I’ve had the privilege and honor of being a part of creating and at least around 70 shows are scheduled to be played if everything goes according to the plans. Music is life.

I survived 70 000 Tons of Metal 2025! Not the easiest task to produce a metal ballet show to be performed on a cruise ship but definitely worth it since both shows went really well after all. And according to people’s reactions and feedback we managed to do something very special once again with this unique production. Onwards!

Today marks the 2nd anniversary of ”As in Gardens, So in Tombs”! This one is a bit more special to me personally since it’s the very first …And Oceans album that I was part of creating. I’m still very proud of the whole album. Can’t wait to get to release some new material for you guys though!
