Winter Camp on the Ice ❄️⛸️

There is something quietly powerful about watching children learn from one another.

This week at the rink, the more confident skaters naturally stepped in to support the beginners. No prompting, no fuss. Just a steady hand, a calm explanation, and the kind of encouragement that only peers can give.

One child who could barely balance at the start of the session found himself, by the end, edging closer to the centre of the ice. Not alone, but surrounded by friends who showed him how, waited patiently, and celebrated every small success.

This is what our camps are about.

Education through experience.
Movement and outdoor time that builds real confidence.
Creativity and problem-solving in practical settings.
Friendships formed through shared challenges.
Life skills such as collaboration, leadership, and learning to both give and receive support.

Stronger skaters helping beginners. Children teaching children. Teamwork in its most natural form.

These are the moments that matter.

13/02/2026

This is collaboration at its most honest: shared focus, shared setbacks, shared progress. It is not about instant success, but about listening closely, challenging ideas, adjusting the plan and staying with the problem together until it finally works.

🤖✨ Learning, building, and having a great time.

Our students absolutely love Robotics, AI and Coding – from hands-on builds to creative problem-solving, every session is full of curiosity and energy. Seeing them so engaged is what makes this programme special.

And we’re not stopping there. We’re excited to be adding machine learning soon, bringing even more depth and real-world tech skills into our robotics programme.

More coming soon

At first glance, it can look like children are just playing with LEGO.
We completely understand why it is not always obvious what is happening in a Robotics lesson.

But every session starts with a problem.
Then comes the solution.

The children design and build a model, but that is only the beginning. They then have to code it, test it, debug it, and refine it. When something does not work, they troubleshoot, rethink, and try again.
What looks like play from the outside is actually structured problem-solving.

Logical thinking, sequencing, cause and effect, persistence, and teamwork are being practised constantly.
So yes, there are LEGO bricks.

Don’t be fooled by the amount of fun we have 👀

Games, camps, projects and plenty of laughs…
but behind it all, we are an official Cambridge English exam preparation centre.

Fun first. Standards always. 🎓✨
