After a car accident caused by distraction, WayRay’s founder Vitaly began rethinking how navigation should work in a car — as part of the driver’s field of view. That’s how True AR began.

Over time, it grew into something bigger. It went beyond cars — any transparent surface can carry information.

A lot has changed along the way, but the idea is still the same — make technology fit into the real world.

Our new product — Side Windows — has recently been launched and is already running in metro trains.

Side Windows create a clear and unified information space inside the carriage. They show what matters during the journey — current and next stations, route maps, and transfers — along with announcements and operator messages.

The system adapts multimedia content to the train’s location and route, updates it based on context and time of day, and runs automatically without staff involvement.

We’ve designed the system to work globally — meeting industry standards and ready to scale across world.

Side Windows were developed with global use in mind — and will soon become part of everyday journeys in other cities.
