The reality of a creative business owner 😮‍💨

Honestly, I love both sides of running my business.

Those routine, everyday tasks actually fuel my creativity 🔥

They're what makes the creative work feel less like work 🥹

I truly value both aspects of my daily business.

(Though I wouldn't complain if someone offered to write my proposals)

Some projects feel extra special, and this was one of them. 🧡

My friend and former colleague I’ve always admired, entrusted me to create the visual identity for Online Marketing Gabriel.

She already had some ideas in mind but was completely open for other suggestions (which was music to my ears 👂).

In the end, we decided on an identity that was both professional and approachable.

The final delivery included:
✅ 1 typeface
✅ 1 logo symbol
✅ typography system
✅ color palette
✅ business card design

With her 20+ years of expertise and hands-on approach, she’s been empowering businesses with tailored marketing solutions 🚀

It was an absolute honor (and a lot of fun!) to bring her brand to life and reflect the dedication, empathy, and reliability she brings to her work every day.

One of my favorite projects last year was rebranding Tagesfamilien Rapperswil-Jona — an association providing personal, individual childcare solutions 🧒

Their logo needed updating, and they lacked design elements for their website, social media, and print materials 🙅‍♀️

From the start, it was clear: this wasn't just a facelift — they needed a completely new face 💁‍♀️

This turned out to be an exciting challenge to tackle 🎯

Among four design concepts, they chose one that perfectly balances their solution-oriented approach with the association’s friendly, playful personality ✨

The final delivery included:

That’s a wrap 🌯

As 2024 comes to a close, I’m reflecting on an incredible year of adventures, learning and growth.

From rebranding amazing businesses to crafting countless social media visuals, I’ve poured my heart into every project. 🖌️💡

This year, I:

➮ Learned more about project management than in my 7 years in corporate life 😮‍💨
➮ Stepped out of my comfort zone multiple times 🕳️
➮ Made meaningful connections with new clients and peers 🫶
➮ Transformed from an insecure freelancer into a confident business owner 💪

Looking back at 2024, I’m proud of myself (and yes, let’s normalize saying this). But I’m just getting started 🔥
