Among the team helping drive innovation at Autoneum is Rachel Partovi, Senior Project Manager Innovation Industrialization – Research & Technology, who also serves as an expert for Innosuisse, the Swiss Innovation Agency. Through her exposure to start-up thinking, innovation ecosystems, and broader market developments, Rachel brings 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤? 🐍

At Autoneum, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 training means being prepared for all kinds of situations – even unusual ones.

After a few snake sightings around our South African plant in Rosslyn, 10 colleagues volunteered for practical 𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 to learn how to respond safely and calmly in case of future encounters. The team learned how to identify venomous snakes, respond to bites, and safely handle species commonly found in the area.

A big thank you to our colleagues for stepping forward and demonstrating how awareness and bravery help create a 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞. A special note of appreciation to the trainers – and their slithering “assistants.” Don’t worry: all snakes were handled with care, and no animals were harmed.
