Early summer is here! ☀️
June is going to be an incredibly busy and exciting month for LUEN. Besides our usual markets and special events in Basel, we are also hitting the road and heading to Lucerne to see you all!

⚠️ Important Notice
Friday, June 12: The cafe will be CLOSED for prep and logistics ahead of the next day's Taiwan Day in Lucerne. Thank you for your understanding—we want to make sure everything is absolutely perfect for the big event!

Last week, a customer spent some quiet time at LUEN enjoying a meal and sketching at the same time.
After they left, we found a small drawing resting on the table.

The moment we saw it, we immediately recognized it — the Dome of Light at Formosa Boulevard Station in Kaohsiung.
The familiar colors and gentle lines felt like a little piece of Taiwan had been brought into our everyday life here in Basel.

We were truly happy and touched by this unexpected gift.
Thank you for leaving us such a beautiful artwork and memory.

We’ll treasure it dearly, and we hope everyone who visits LUEN can leave with their own little moment and story here too.

上週，有一位顧客在 LUEN 店裡靜靜地一邊用餐、一邊畫畫。
離開後，我們在桌上發現了一幅留下來的小作品。

走近一看，馬上認出那是高雄捷運的「美麗島站」。
熟悉的穹頂色彩、溫柔的線條，像把台灣的記憶輕輕帶進了 Basel 的日常裡。

收到這份突如其來的心意，我們真的非常開心，也很感動。
謝謝您把這幅畫留給 LUEN，讓這個小角落多了一份溫暖與故事。

我們會好好珍惜，也希望每位來到 LUEN 的人，都能在這裡留下屬於自己的片刻與回憶。

很開心這次受邀參與 Basel 在地公益組織 familea 的 125 週年家庭活動，並在 Münsterplatz 與大家見面！ 當天除了豐富的親子活動與表演，也會有來自不同文化的美食攤位。LUEN 也將帶來多款手作麵包與點心，與大家一起分享美味與溫暖 ❤️
