Fun times in Geneva Switzerland! In Europe the jam style open mics are super common so I wanted to bless the mic at .ch after my solo performance. It was such a good vibe! We drove two hours to Bern performed twice in the morning and afternoon, hopped on a train to Paris and I performed a third time at Canal 93! I can’t wait to go back. I already have lots of international gigs already lined up and I want to hit every continent! Huge shoutout 🫶🏽

All Power To The People ✊🏽🪶
On Tuesday May 5th, we confirmed that all the drills and equipment associated with the Rochford Mineral Exploratory Drilling Project operated by Pete Lien & Sons were removed from every drill pad. This was confirmed by the protectors on site.
The Pe’ Sla Protectors Camp successfully accomplished their goal of evicting the drills from the area. We made the decision to demobilize camp and then developed plans with partners to continue monitoring the site until the injunction hearing later this month to ensure that the drills do not return.
During the temporary restraining order (TRO) hearing we learned that drilling had already been completed on 7 of the 18 sites prior to our camp. Given this pace of work by Pete Lien & Sons, we know that they likely would have completed drilling for most if not all all their samples before the TRO was even granted, making our action to protect Pe’ Sla even more consequential.
We are so grateful for all of community members who supported us on the ground and from afar. This is a collective victory for the Oceti Sakowin, Mother Earth, future generations and all of us who depend on clean drinking water!
While we may have won this battle we know this win is temporary. The injunction hearing later this month will determine if the project will undergo a full environmental and cultural review. Until then we need continued support to keep fighting to protect Pe’ Sla.
🪶 Donate! Deploying a successful action like this is costly and the legal battle we are engaged in to Protect Pe’ Sla through the courts also takes significant resources: https://donate.ndncollective.org/campaign/795725/donate

Europe 2026 tour dump - how many mpg you think this car gets?
Europe is full of tiny cars, public transit, narrow streets, walking endlessly, really old buildings, badass activists, pastries and amazing lifelong friends ❤️🔥

60 million bison once covered the Great Plains.
Herds so large that early European travellers described them as a living carpet stretching to every horizon. Herds that took days to pass a given point at full movement.
By 1889: 300 animals. Systemically hunted — for hides, for sport, and deliberately as a strategy to destroy the food base of Plains Indigenous nations. The US Army understood that killing the bison was a military tactic. Documents from the period confirm this was policy.
In 1889, naturalist William Hornaday counted 256 bison surviving in the wild.
What followed was one of the first deliberate wildlife conservation efforts in American history. Theodore Roosevelt and Hornaday helped found the American Bison Society in 1905. Captive herds were bred and protected. Land was set aside.
Today: approximately 30,000 wild and conservation herd bison. Over 400,000 including commercial ranching operations.
From 60 million to 300 to 30,000. It is not a full recovery. The vast migrations are gone. The cultural and ecological relationship with the land they shaped is irreplaceably altered. But they are not extinct.
The decision to stop was enough to keep them from disappearing completely. Sometimes that is all that's needed.

Amsterdam has been incredible! Spoke and performed in front of a crowd of unionists and had a beautiful ceremony to remember the workers who died at their work places. Truly an honor to be a part of it as we continue to support and fight for the rights of workers worldwide. We led a workshop, connected with new comrades, spoke on another panel about our fight against 🧊 and performed for such amazing audience! What an abundant and packed day! I’m so inspired, I can’t wait to come back I LOVE YOU AMSTERDAM
