La ALPS Conference 2026 inizia prima ancora del primo giorno ufficiale, e ne vale la pena.

Giovedì 8 ottobre 2026 (13:00–17:00) ad Aarau, apriamo la conferenza con una giornata di workshop. Quattro workshop in parallelo, ciascuno nella propria lingua, per clinici e ricercatori che lavorano nel campo della terapia assistita dai psichedelici o vogliono conoscerla meglio.

Il workshop in italiano quest'anno:

🟡 Beyond the Symptom: PAT and Eating Disorders Come si integra la terapia assistita dai psichedelici nel trattamento dei disturbi alimentari? Questo workshop presenta la struttura, i casi clinici e i primi risultati di un centro specializzato in Ticino, che ha iniziato a integrare la PAT dal dicembre 2024.

Con Claudia Ariemma (psichiatra e analista junghiana, responsabile medico del centro) e Simona Porta (psicologa e psicoterapeuta, formata in EMDR e mindfulness). 12 posti soltanto.

Die ALPS Conference 2026 beginnt schon einen Tag früher, und das lohnt sich.

Am Donnerstag, 8. Oktober 2026 (13:00–17:00 Uhr) in Aarau eröffnen wir die Konferenz mit einem Workshop-Tag. Vier parallele Workshops, jeder in seiner eigenen Sprache, für Fachpersonen aus Klinik und Forschung im Bereich der psychedelika-unterstützten Therapie.

Der deutschsprachige Workshop dieses Jahr:

🟢 Therapeutische Haltung und Atem-Selbsterfahrung Was macht therapeutische Präsenz aus, und wie lässt sie sich verkörpern? Dieser erfahrungsorientierte Workshop verbindet kurze theoretische Impulse mit Atemübungen und gemeinsamer Reflexion. Im Zentrum stehen Haltung und Beziehungsgestaltung in der psychedelika-unterstützten Therapie.
Mit Helena Aicher, PhD (Universitäten Zürich und Basel) und Stephanie Buschner, MSc (Psychiatrische Universitätsklinik Zürich). 18 Plätze.

Die Workshops auf Englisch, Italienisch und Französisch finden am selben Tag statt. Details in den Slides.

La conférence ALPS 2026 commence dès la veille, et ça vaut le déplacement.

Le jeudi 8 octobre 2026 (13h00–17h00) à Aarau, nous ouvrons la conférence avec une journée d'ateliers. Quatre ateliers en parallèle, chacun dans sa langue, pensés pour les cliniciens et chercheurs qui travaillent dans le domaine de la thérapie assistée par psychédéliques (TAP) ou souhaitent mieux le comprendre.

L'atelier en français cette année :

🔵 Therapeutic Relationship in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy Une grande part du travail thérapeutique se joue dans la relation. Cet atelier clinique et expérientiel explore la présence thérapeutique, la sécurité relationnelle, les dynamiques de transfert, et la particularité de travailler en binôme femme-homme dans un cadre psychédélique.
Avec Catherine Duffour (psychiatre, thérapeute systémique et hypnothérapeute, fondatrice de CXIO) et Hervé Duffour (coach thérapeutique). 12 places seulement.

On Thursday, 8 October 2026 (13:00–17:00) in Aarau, we're opening the conference with a dedicated workshop day. Four parallel workshops, each in its own language, designed for clinicians and researchers working in or curious about psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT).

The English workshop this year:

🔴 Let's Talk About S*x (in PAT) S*xuality comes up in therapy more often than we talk about it, and in the context of psychedelic-assisted therapy, it requires particular care, skill, and openness. This workshop combines theory with hands-on experiential structures to help practitioners navigate this vulnerable but essential territory with confidence.
Led by Lea Stocker (psychiatry, psychotherapy & relational s*xual therapy) and Robert Fischer (psychiatrist, psychotherapist & trainer of body and s*x therapists). 18 places only.

The Future of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy is Multilingual. 🇨🇭

On October 8th, join the ALPS Pre-Conference Workshop Series for a high-level clinical intensive. For a whole afternoon, we are bringing together Switzerland’s pioneers to bridge the “Röstigraben” through science, offering four parallel tracks in German, French, Italian, and English.

We’re excited to welcome Klemens Egger to this year’s ALPS Summer School!

Klemens is a neuroscientist and postdoctoral researcher at the University Hospital of Psychiatry Zurich, whose work explores how psychedelic compounds shape brain function, perception, and socio-emotional processes.

With a background in chemistry and neuroscience, his research combines pharmacology with advanced neuroimaging techniques to better understand the mechanisms behind substances like DMT — from brain dynamics to experiences such as empathy and compassion.

Who’s coming this summer? 👀

🚨 We’re excited to welcome Martha Havenith to this year’s ALPS Summer School!

Martha brings a fascinating perspective at the crossroads of neuroscience, virtual reality, and breathwork. As a research group leader at the Max Planck Institute, her work explores how the brain navigates complex cognitive processes and how altered states, including those induced by breathwork, can shape our inner experience.

🌬️ Beyond the lab, she has over a decade of experience as a breathwork facilitator and is leading pioneering research on its neuronal and clinical effects, including trauma processing.

💫 Her work embodies one of the core intentions of the Summer School: bridging rigorous science with lived, embodied experience.
