📖This study explores the optimization of the machining time in CNC milling machines by varying the machine parameters and toolpath strategies. A novel approach to the optimization of the G-code in time machining, focusing on reducing the machining time while maintaining the required precision and quality of the finished product, is presented. We propose a method that integrates advanced algorithms to identify and eliminate redundant movements, optimize the toolpaths, and improve the machining strategies.

📖In this study, the MR gearbox was first designed and prototyped. A characterization test was then conducted to verify its variable damping property. The classic Bouc–Wen model was used to describe the MR gearbox and then a mathematical model was established for the whole robotic arm. Additionally, a new variable damping control method was proposed for further improving the positioning precision and reducing energy consumption.

📖We introduce an innovative approach for autonomous navigation and collision avoidance in dynamic environments for quadcopter UAVs, utilizing the YS-DADQN framework. This method incorporates Yolov8-StrongSort for enhanced dynamic obstacle detection. Additionally, a novel data storage mechanism for replay memory has been developed to boost the efficacy of training processes. Furthermore, we have crafted a reward function inspired by artificial potential fields that optimizes the UAV’s trajectory by considering both the proximity to the target and the avoidance of obstacles.

📖In this paper, an ASMPC algorithm was designed by combining the SMC algorithm with the MPC algorithm and using the fuzzy logic methodology to adjust the prediction horizon and the control horizon. Compared with the third conventional SMPC algorithm, the proposed ASMPC algorithm has two improvements, i.e., removing the sliding mode approach law and incorporating the fuzzy logic methodology, thus effectively improving the control precision and robustness of the path tracking system for wheeled agricultural vehicles.
