[04/10 02:14] Kiseka Samson: First of all, you need to organize the raw materials and resources needed to conduct the activities.

Among these are fire wood
Steaming/soaking drum
Cleansing detergents like jik
A clean surface like cement or tarpaulin

Others include (for 1 cotton suck)

Packing bags ---> 1kg (10,000shs )
Rubber bands ---> 1 put (4000#)
Rings ----> 140 pc's

Inputs

Cotton husk ---1 bag
Spawn or seeds --->15 pcs
Iime ---> 1/4kg
Maize bran ---> 4kg
[04/10 02:14] Kiseka Samson: PROCESS

SOAKING; soak the substrates (cotton hulls) underneath water mixed with the lime for 24hrs

DRAINING; Drain the substrate until all excessive water is out. You test it by squeezing it tightly so that no any single drops come out.
After, add in the 4kg of maize bran and mix evenly

STEAMING; steam the substrate mixture for btw 3 - 6hrs to kill off contaminants

SPAWNING/INOCULATION; when the substrate cools, transfer them to a pre-cleaned surface or room and mix in your mycelium/spawn as your best methods of choice
Pack them in bags tightly to exclude any gases inside before transferring them to the incubator

COLONIZATION/INCUBATION; let the mycelium run/grow for btw 2 - 3weeks after which they change whitish in colour
Transfer them to the grow room and initiate fruiting through irrigating them, slicing and providing favourable cold conditions
