We are a proud sponsor of Ptarmicon every year. This year we printed their signs and all of these volunteer shirts!
It’s bittersweet every year once Ptarmicon is over.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered last weekend, we could not have done it without you!
Thank you to our sponsors, who allow us to keep growing year over year so we can offer more entertainment for the nerds of the north.
And thank you to every single person who shows up for us to buy a ticket. This year, Ptarmicon reached a new milestone by seeing over 1000 attendees!
The plan is only to get bigger and better, so mark your calendars because Ptarmicon will be back next year on July 24 & 25, 2027!
We’re thrilled to be a proud sponsor of Ptarmicon 2026 — the worlds northernmost gaming & pop culture convention! 🎮✨
Get ready for an epic weekend of gaming, cosplay, fandoms, and unforgettable fun. 🎉

What an event ! Folk on the rocks is a bucket list event for so many artists and I'm happy- no I'm stoked - to be a teeny part of it. Volunteering to drive artists from their hotel to site and back is one of the most amazing jobs. I showed The Darcys Great Slave Lake. I chatted with Aysanabee and Mae Martin about fires and the weird raw beauty of Yellowknife. Do yourself a favour next year and help one of best festivals we have by just being you.
