Sauna Rituals

Yesterday was a good day for an afternoon sauna in Winnipeg.

Really appreciate all the feedback on my last post — especially the skeptical takes.

I’m not trying to replace traditional sauna practices or tell anyone how they should sauna. I’m experimenting with a different format for introducing scent and trying to learn what actually works (or doesn’t).

That got me curious:

If you do use scent in your sauna — what works best for you?

• Fresh birch
• Spruce / pine
• Eucalyptus
• Citrus
• Herbal blends
• Nothing at all
