Table for 1200 — an evening celebrating architecture, design, and community.

For this year’s event, we looked beyond the finished home to explore the layers, materials, and craftsmanship that make it possible. Using site scraps, fabricator cutoffs, and supplier remnants, our tables revealed the hidden systems that exist beneath every completed space.

Inspired by the vertical and horizontal core samples of a home, each installation offered a cross-section of the elements that shape both performance and experience.

Table 01: House, Vertical Core Sample

Concrete, insulation, structure, flooring, and membranes each play a distinct role: carrying load, managing moisture, controlling air, resisting weather, and creating comfort.

Table 02: House, Horizontal Core Sample

Cladding, insulation, wall finishes, cabinetry, and glass each play a distinct role: shedding water, controlling air, defining space, filtering light, and shaping the character of a home.

Spring is in the air…and we’re already thinking about days spent poolside. ☀️
