Families Forward - Fort Rouge / River Heights

Today is our last Tuesday Kids@Play at Bethel Mennonite Church before we break for summer! 🏖 We're not entirely done just yet, though. We're adding an extra session each at Lord Roberts CC (Wednesdays until June 24) and outdoors at Harrow Park (Thursdays until June 25). All locations run 9:30 - 11 AM. Still plenty of fun to be had!

It’s family fishing weekend from June 12 to 14:
🎣 no licence is required for recreational fishing (excluding in federal parks)
🚗 no vehicle permit required to enter Manitoba Parks. Camping fees still apply.

Outdoor Kids@Play will go ahead tomorrow (Thursday) morning, even if it's raining, unless there is lightning or conditions are otherwise hazardous. Updates will be posted here by no later than 8:45 AM.

🌎 If you have also been colouring and creating at home, don't forget that you can bring your used markers, pens, and mechanical pencils to us for recycling until May 7!

Our annual Earth Month (and spring cleaning) event is back! Clear your craft supply drawers of used writing tools and unload them at any Kids@Play session from now until May 7. We'll recycle them for you!

We can take DRY (i.e. not leaking) pens, mechanical pencils, markers, highlighters, and their caps but NOT wax crayons, wooden pencils, pencil crayons, or other craft supplies like glue sticks.

Spring is coming, and time's running out to enjoy our toys for snow and ice! We have another new pair of kids' snowshoes -- green like our team shirts -- that need to be broken in.
