Sometimes an empty wall is not boring… I like to see it as an opportunity to find peacefulness within the space, and to give other features of the house the opportunity to shine.

This renovation is what we call a Labour of love, by my friends . This open concept living room was the perfect place to end up after a busy day. A mix of warm neutrals, natural textures, and clean lines, give this open floor plan a cozy feel. A little guidance with layout, material choices, and many brainstorming sessions… always with wine…helped bring together our friends design vision. And guess what. It’s for sale! Msg for details.

Lanark house • the high ceilings and lofty feel of the space allowed for a statement modern chandelier...so we went for it.

Borebank house • the owners of this home love to entertain so opening up the kitchen to the living room was essential. We added a flush beam + column to create this bright open concept living space.

Borebank kitchen • we completely opened up the kitchen and added custom floor to ceiling black cabinets to maximize the space.

We’re finally taking some photos of our past reno projects! For .luu & Borebank kitchen we worked with a black + white palette, adding natural wood accents to warm up the space. Love a good kitchen nook 👍🏽

Don’t be afraid of large scale art work! This one almost fills the entire back wall which creates a focal point that anchors this dining room space perfectly.
