Each time I load my kiln with a piece of glass, I hold my breath just a little till I open it again 24 hours later. I am not a patient person & those last few hours kill me. I hope that the kiln gods were kind & that what I imagined comes true.

The countdown is on to the WAG Crafted 2024 artisan market!! I am so thrilled to be back this year. I've been busy creating new patterns and new pieces just for this show.

This market is the place to go to buy very finely crafted, unique artisan pieces, over 100 artists from more than 30 communities across Manitoba, Nunavut, Northwest Territories & Nunavik are showcasing their own fine handmade goods.

I'm taking my most popular glass class on the road, and I'm unveiling it at the Shops of St Andrews Craft Market this weekend, October 26 & 27

You'll make a fused glass votive candle holder right at the market. I'll have all the glass cut & ready for you. You can select one of the prepared patterns or create your own, once you like what you've designed, you'll glue it down. I'll take it to my home studio to fire, it is after all fused glass! In about 2 weeks, you'll pick up your finished artwork at the Shops of St Andrews, all included, tealight & candle too! $40.

Space is limited, so to reserve your spot, you can prepay & book your time, DM me please. Ten spots are available to prebook per time slot:

I recently gave a fused glass class to a great group of young Ukrainians. They were told they could create anything they wanted, whatever made them happy or was close to their hearts. This is what they created, the tryzub, our symbol of freedom, a symbol that has been used in Ukraine for centuries to show our unbreakable spirit.
