Well here is an announcement I’ve been pondering for months now.

Some of you may have noticed I’ve been MIA on social media and haven’t been at many markets this year.

Last year was a wonderful year of sales, meeting new customers and makers and I had so much fun doing it all. While I hustled both my FT job and Potted I realized that I hardly had any time for my kids, my family or my friends. Self care was non existent.

If you’ve been following me from the start of the pandemic you’d know my story for creating this fun business. I was on leave from my FT job and felt suicidal for months. When the pandemic hit and I knew that I wasn’t going back to work for a few more months I created this business in a “fight or flight” mode to have money to support my family. If you know the real Mary, I struggle with major depression disorder and anxiety. I know how to cope with my depression and seek immediate help if I can’t. I usually laugh my way through difficult times. Hence pun pots. This year I was introduced to something called boundaries. I had time for myself, I had time for my kids, family and friends.

I’ve held numerous clearance sales and story sales where I’m really liquidating my inventory and making no income whatsoever. I’ve dropped all my prices on my website and the sales are just not there anymore. I get it, people are not confined to their homes anymore. We’re all out socializing and travelling and I couldn’t be happier for all the good times we all get to have now.

This business has created a ton of debt on my end and I just want to sell off everything so I can move on, start fresh and come up with another business idea.
