A federal judge on Tuesday permanently blocked the Trump administration from enforcing a directive to end federal funding for National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting Service. U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss ruled that the executive order is unlawful and violates the First Amendment’s protections against viewpoint discrimination and retaliation. The order directed federal agencies to cut off all funding to NPR and PBS, but the judge said the administration failed to cite legal precedent supporting such action and described it as targeting disfavored viewpoints.

BREAKING: New polling shows that James Talarico is leading both Ken Paxton and John Cornyn in the Texas Senate race.

Talarico leads Paxton 44-43 and Cornyn 43-41 respectively.

If Talarico prevails, Democrats would be increasingly likely to take back the Senate and rip control of the entire legislative branch from Donald Trump, Mike Johnson and John Thune.

This would be a major coup for the Democrats and send shockwaves throughout the entire country.
