I always say that buying upholstered furniture from those "free shipping" websites such as Houzz and Wayfair was a bad idea, but now I can show you exactly why! A colleague (Kara Schuster from "and once we were") opened up a chair for a client and found this. This $350 chair is what gives people the idea that having a chair reupholstered is expensive. BUT LOOK WHAT YOU GET FOR THAT CHEAP PRICE! Rubber tire webbing, cardboard lining and pieces of scrap foam for the seat! What they did is heinous, and you can't tell! If you want a real chair, made with quality materials and skilled workmanship, please come and talk to me! Please share this post for me and call your local upholsterer before buying new furniture online.
