Less than 10 weeks until Christmas! Have you put your Holiday wine on yet? Now is the time to get it on so you have plenty of time to bottle before the holidays!

I had a wonderful client ask if we make mulled wine in addition to our regular items. We do not, but there are many great recipes out there that you can quickly do up yourself! Mulled wine is a simmered wine that includes a dry, fruity red wine, different spices, brandy and usually something to sweeten it up a bit. With the holidays fast approaching; here is an easy recipe if you're looking to try something new. Simmer all the ingredients together for about 30min (do not boil). Ladle liquid into mugs and garnish with fresh orange slices, cranberries, cinnamon sticks etc. I suggest adding half of the honey it calls for and taste test before adding the rest. Some like it sweeter and some don't. Enjoy!

1 750ml bottle of Red Wine
1 orange zested and juiced
5 whole cloves
2 (or 3) cinnamon sticks
2 whole star anise
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup brandy
