I hope the summer has been a good one for you. If you follow me, you will know I took the summer off to reevaluate my Podcast and consider where I would place my focus in the next phase of my podcasts. I created my Podcast based on the ABCs of the Journey to Inner Wisdom. I did follow the alphabet, more or less. It was a good system for my monkey brain. I interviewed many people with interesting and diverse journeys. I found each of my guests inspiring, and they certainly added to my own, I hope your journey to inner wisdom.

So, what did I come up with as I reflected… well the best-laid plans of cats and women… so much for the pause… maybe the pandemic was enough of a pause for me… I don’t know, but it was difficult to get that pause time in this summer.

“Awareness is the greatest agent for change.” Eckart Tolle

There is no other way to say it… It all starts with awareness. Anything that we want to change in our lives or if change is happening to us…awareness is part of that process. But what is awareness anyway? Our body is set up to be aware…if we are too hot, we cool down, if we are too cold, our body warms us, if we are injured, our body sends messages about pain, and sometimes, when the injury is so bad it shuts down our experience of pain. That body awareness is unconscious and always operating. Then, there is the perceptual awareness of our senses. We are picking up sensations all the time with our five senses.

Last time, I talked about awareness and said that mindfulness and awareness are interconnected, but I didn’t go into detail. So here we are…

Simply put, mindfulness is living in the present moment. It’s about minding our minds. Not in a way that consumes us but in a way that frees us. Mindfulness practice is a way of learning to let our wandering mind just wander and not get caught up in the dialogue. When we practice mindfulness, we are able to be present in the pause between the past and the future. A space between, so to speak. But so often, we spend time reviewing the past and anticipating the future and do not pause for that fleeting moment of now. The significance of that one moment is well described by Michael Singer.

The Transformation Program is a 12-session program that guides individuals through the "Awareness, Beliefs, Curiosity" growth cycle, with each of the three topics consisting of four modules.

Awareness:
How do I pay attention?
What are my observations and what do they tell me?
Where am I present to the world, how do I present myself to the world?

Beliefs:
What are my underlying perceptions of the world?
What does this reveal about me and the world around me?
Where is a transformation happening? How am I making transformation happen?

Curiosity:
How do I align my deepest desires with my beliefs?
How do I embody my magic in a way that it is visible to the world?
How do I stay attuned to the energy of the universe?
…with the result of breakthroughs to a new way of being.

This program runs over three months, with three 1-1 sessions with Crystal. exercises for each module.
