My new painting
《Daffodils and hyacinths 》
oil on 35*45 cm mix paper
I am glad to hear your comments
Sometimes flowers are not painted from the garden, but from a feeling.
Daffodils and hyacinths - one reaching toward the light, one blooming quietly in blue.
I wasn't trying to paint them perfectly.
I was trying to paint the moment when spring begins to breathe again.

《Amber Evening at White Rock》
Oil on 35*45cm mix paper
One of the beautiful things about living in White Rock
is that every day you can see
the ocean,
a snow mountain,
Canada’s longest pier,
and all kinds of little marine creatures.
Many people come to the beach to look at the sea.
But I always find myself looking for Mount Baker in the distance.
Sometimes it is white.
Sometimes it turns purple.
Sometimes the sunset paints it orange.
The sea is always moving,
while the mountain stays quiet.
Yet somehow,
they are always together.
That evening the sunset was especially gentle.
The entire White Rock shoreline
was wrapped in a warm orange glow.
So when I got home,
I painted that moment.
Sometimes painting isn’t about making something look perfectly real.
It’s about keeping
the light,
the air,
and the feeling of that moment.

“Dreamscape of a Thousand Fish”
Mix paint on 30*40 cm canvas
I’m glad to hear your comments
😊
These days, White Rock’s shoreline feels magical.
Tiny silver fish gather in shimmering waves,
moving like the ocean is breathing in soft rhythms✨
Watching them, I couldn’t help imagining
a dreamy jellyfish drifting quietly beneath the surface—
glowing, floating, dancing with the tide.
🎨 That feeling became this painting:
Pink for the ocean’s gentleness,
Blue for the pulse of the waves,
A touch of gold for the light
that glimmers on a jellyfish’s crown.
If you love the sea, the light,
and those invisible energies you can’t explain but can feel—
you’ll understand the dream inside this piece.

✨ White Rock Borderline Train ✨
Mix paint on 50*60cm canvas
The train that rushes along the U.S.–Canada border runs many times a day,
working tirelessly as it carries goods between the two countries.
Here in White Rock, it has also become a unique part of our landscape —
a moving line of strength and energy against the calm ocean.
When the sunset falls over the water and the train passes by the shoreline,
the moment becomes something quietly beautiful.
This painting captures that scene:
the rhythm of White Rock, the warmth,
and the everyday beauty we often pass by without noticing.

Fairyland - The 11,000-Year Sentinel
Oil on 40*50cm canvas
In this enchanting realm of Fairyland, a colossal white rock stands proudly amid a tapestry of vibrant hues and mystical light. Known as the “11,000-Year Sentinel,” this ancient relic is but a fragment of a once-mighty iceberg, bearing witness to the passage of millennia and cradling countless legends and secrets.
The painting captures a scene where time seems to stand still—where every burst of color and every play of shadow whispers tales of frozen eras and enduring power. The stone, imbued with the wisdom of ages past, appears to silently guard the realm, inviting viewers to journey into a world where the mystical and the historic entwine.
Step into this dreamlike domain and let the gentle murmur of the ancient sentinel guide you through a landscape where timeless mysteries and fleeting moments converge.
