Left folding shelf for bbq finally milled, poured and installed. The old wooden ones didn’t last in the elements... Now to start the right side!

First tome trying out Rubio Monocoat finish! Tried it on 2 charcuterie boards, one out of Walnut, and this one out of Olive Wood. Almost looks 3D!!
Next test, Osmo finish.

New accessory to the charcoal BBQ coming!!! I’ve been wanting to do this for a long long time. The side shelves on this guy have been worn out.
Fingers crossed this actually works.
CNC is finally running again!

I treated myself to a little b-day present. Unfortunately haven’t been in the shop much this summer, but can’t wait to try this combo out! 2.2kW spindle, HDZ upgrade from Carbide 3D, and the new clear boot from . Already a list of projects in que for the fall. I do have to give a huge shout out to Mark and Jenn at Suck it dust boot! I hit one of my clamp downs a while ago, and broke the bottom dust boot. Mark saw my post on IG, and sent me a new one!! Super happy with their customer service....

Need some opinions! Starting up some signs before camping season begins. Comparing epoxy vs paint. What is everyone’s preference/favourite?

So very appreciative for my buddies Shawn and Henry for helping getting 800lbs of cast iron into the basement. Was a little worried getting this into the basement, but all worked out. #

I’m embarrassingly far behind in these, but really happy with how they are turning out. After about 7 cotes of shellac and paint, a little light sanding before the last finishing layer. Epoxy soon to come!!!

This guy finally showed up today from Atlas Machinery from the Toronto woodworking show. Looking forward to making a LOT of wood chips. We’ve got a bunch of lumber that we can’t wait to see after getting cleaned up with this planer!
Now, how to get it in the basement.....
