The 2026 Winter CAN Conference is complete! πŸš€

Yesterday, Youth in Policing welcomed over 50 community booths, and over 200 members of the public, at the 2026 Winter CAN Conference! πŸŽ‰

It was a day filled with activities, learning, and engagement, connecting youth to the vast Durham community! 🌟

In the morning, students cycled through Mock Interviews, Email Professonalization, Workplace Scenarios, and Business Pitching, helping prepare them for the professional world! πŸ–‹

Later, we were graciously joined by hundreds of members of the community for an excellent and engaging CAN Conference, highlighting CAN's core values of Community, Advocacy, and Networking! πŸ’«

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all community organizations, charities, businesses, and attendees at the event! CAN Conference wouldn't have been the same without each and every one of you! πŸŽ–

Yesterday, the Youth in Policing Team had the amazing opportunity to visit the DRPS Education and Training Centre! πŸ“

Students learned firsthand about officer training, special scenarios, and common equipment, which help our officers complete their duties every day! 🌟
