SPMainecoons

I wanted to share a little about another one of our kitty families. They decided to venture out into the crazy cat world. This weekend Skye along with her mom traveled to Ottawa for the CCA show for 1 day. And I must say I am beyond proud of how they both did. She recieved the Best premier ribbon in 3 of the 4 rings, and she was the youngest one out of (not sure how many) the maine c**ns in the class.
Congrats to you both!

Today we said good-bye to our playful, full of s***k sweet heart. He was furever jumping around and sneak attacking any chance he got. We will miss that. But are so very happy he found his furever laps. Congratulations Sheelen and family, i hope you can all agree on a name. Lol
Welcome to the SPMainec**ns family!

We attended the CCA cobourg show with our black smoke female Scarlett. It was very tough competition for her and we didn't expect to much but she was able to make 2 of the 8 finals. Which was a wonderful accomplishment for her.

This past weekend we attended the Cobourg CCA show. It was the weekend of the National Award Banquet. Although we didn't attend the Banquet our Mannic**n Sammy of Spmainec**ns was awarded 12th best cat for the 2025/2026 show season. A great accomplishment for him as he only showed half the season.
Thank you so much Kaja for this wonderful boy.
Congratulations to all the National winners.

So Big Big day today. A little sad, but also heartwarming. A few months back a wonderful couple welcomed our Lucy now twosie into their family, and as her new mom was patient and warm with her, dad was playing with our boy Casper and was clearly quite taken with him. Well today Casper was able to meet this wonderful couple again.
We will definitely miss this boy, we had an absolutely amazing time showing him. (Thank you Deria and Dwight) for allowing me to do that. I really hope you will take the plunge and maybe show him in the future. Congratulations and once again welcome to the SPMainec**ns family!

Update: He now has his furrever lap to curl up in.

This sweet energetic boy is now 👀

More big news, Bentley was out this past week-end also. We are so proud of him ad he was able to collect enough points to Grand. It was a bitter sweet day on Sunday as he has been a big part of our breeding program. He fathered many of our pet families kitties (all whom are absolutely stunning) He was our second home breed kitten and 2nd best mainec**n 2 years in a row. He was a national winning kitten, and a national winning champion. Now he will move on to try and achieve the same goal as a premiere.
He now will start his best life and future show goals in his new home. Thank you so much Cathy and Andy for welcoming this boy into your home, (I know Cathy wouldn't have it any other way) she has always loved this boy. Look forward to seeing him at future shows!

Big weekend this past weekend down at the CNE Canadian cat show. I want to thank all the judges who found room in the finals for my cats.
Our kitten Casper did very well, this was his last kitten show and he was 2nd best in show for Sunday. He ended up with 4th for saturday. Casper will now retire from the show world and meet his family in about 2 weeks time. It was souch fun being able to show this boy, thank you to his family for allowing me to finish off his kitten season.

Its the most wonderful time of the year! My favorite show of the season. Yup its CNE time, if you downtown today come by and say hi we are in the Enercare building!
