❤️ National Accessibility Week - Wear Red! ❤️

Today at WindReach, we’re celebrating National Accessibility Week by wearing red and recognizing the importance of creating inclusive spaces where everyone can participate, learn and thrive.

Pictured here is Axel, proudly wearing his bright red scrim as he prepares for his therapeutic riding lesson. Helping him get ready are our wonderful volunteers, Donna (left) and Laurie (right), whose dedication helps make these life-changing experiences possible. Also featured is Axel at our accessible mounting ramp/block, an important tool that helps participants safely and confidently access therapeutic riding opportunities.

Accessibility is about removing barriers, creating opportunities, and ensuring everyone has the chance to reach their full potential. Thank you to our participants, volunteers, staff, supporters and animals who help make that vision a reality every day.

It is with great sadness that WindReach shares the passing of our longtime friend, neighbour and volunteer, Betty Cincurak.

Betty held a special place in WindReach's history as Sandy's very first volunteer on the farm. Over the years, she generously gave her time and talents in countless ways - serving on our Board of Directors, lovingly caring for the farm's indoor plants, and sharing her knowledge of horticulture with many of our participants. Many people discovered a love of gardening through her patient teaching and encouragement. Her kindness, wisdom and commitment to WindReach will be deeply missed.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Betty's family and friends during this difficult time.
