I’m proud of my students who continue sewing. Brianna will be graduating in a few weeks to head off to high school and this is the graduation dress she made for herself. She stopped by the studio and we spoke a little via text messages regarding fabric options and stitching techniques but this is all her. I’ve added a few of the things she made last year during summer fashion camp.
If your child loves to be creative and loves fashion, sign them up for this summer. Only a few spots left.

This dress was so quick and easy…can easily be made in 60-90 mins.

This is what I like to call a Happy dress. I finished this dress about a week ago as I was only able to steal a few hours here and there for myself to make it. I was also on the fence about the sleeves but now I absolutely love it. Stay tuned for another video showing my baby girl in her matching dress which was super quick and easy to make.
I used the same techniques I teach in my adult sewing classes to make this and with practice and time you can start making your own clothes too.
