This used to be a microwave opening on a Hunter 41 sailboat. Repurposed for galley storage. Cherry, stained with Saman water based stain 117, to match the rest of the boat interior. @ Whitby, Ontario

Another cockpit sole for a 1974 Hurley 30. Throwback to last summer. Luckily had the original aft piece as a pattern. The wood had already been purchased for this floor. Finished with Epifanes varnish. @ Whitby, Ontario

Recently completed cockpit sole for CS 36. Made from iroko. Finished with West System epoxy (105 resin and 207 special hardener) followed by 5 coats of Epifanes high gloss varnish. Side wings aft of wheel are curved. Shape was achieved by laminating four thin strips of iroko. Stainless strip hinge connects side wings to centre section. @ Whitby, Ontario
