This incredible practice of somatic therapy, movement medicine, and physical exercise serves to heal, liberate, and harmonize the mind, body, and soul. We warmly welcome you to embrace the profound transformation that Ecstatic Dance offers and embark on this magical journey with us.
Our FIRST dance is happening Monday June 12th at a beautiful old church, now known as the Brooklin Community Centre.
We'll be gathering at 45 Cassels Road East, Brooklin (Whitby), ON on Mon Jun 12 2023 at 7:00 PM.

What exactly IS ecstatic dance?
⭐️ Ecstatic dance is a practice of moving the body to music in ANY WAY that feels safe, natural, relaxing and good to you…
There are no instructions or steps to follow. The music guides as the body leads.
⭐️ Ecstatic dance allows us to move as wildly, weirdly, calmly or gracefully as we want to, without the pressure to perform or impress.
This is meditation in movement. It gives us the opportunity to connect with and listen to our body.
⭐️ Ecstatic dance can bring up a range of emotions. It can make us feel joyful, liberated and uninhibited. It can also make us feel out-of-place, awkward and uncomfortable.
This practice welcomes, witnesses and honours all emotions with reverence.
⭐️ Ecstatic dance is a practice that when done in community provides us a chance to express ourselves, move in unity, and to share in the healing of this medicine, together.
