Join us on May 27 for the final free seminar from the Gardening Speaker Series, in partnership with the Town of Whitby! Carson Arthur will be joining us to discuss a very important topic, The Importance of Food Security.

Carson talks about the disruptions of the global supply chain. Food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical access to sufficient safe and nutritious food. Now is not the time to take this for granted!

Thank you to everyone who joined us as we came together to grow fresh food and support families in Durham.

A warm welcome to our new gardening members who adopted their own beds today: Darcy , , and Minhaly.

Special thanks to Starbucks Manager Alyssa Morris and the management team at 900 Dundas Street West, Whitby, for the refreshments.

We also appreciate Abigail, founder of , for her continued guidance, Anita , a valued director on Mannahelp’s Board, and our dedicated student volunteer for giving her time once again.

High school students are welcome to volunteer and earn community service hours while giving back.
