An elevator speech is a clear, brief message or “commercial” about you. It’s typically about 30 seconds, the time it takes people to ride from the top to the bottom of a building in an elevator. It communicates who you are, what you’re looking for and how you can benefit a company or organization.
1) Who are you and what do you do?
2) Tell them the story about how you got interested in this line of work – your passion.
3) Know your “Why?” – “Why do you want to do this?”
4) Tell them “Why You” by communicating your unique selling point? – Bragging rights.
