This will be a 45 minute webinar. Designed for everyone, the webinar will discuss basic information on Anxiety, what it looks like, treatments available, and some basic tools to manage it.

Terence Dayot is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). He combines his education and professional experience in the mental health field with his personal life journey.

Terence’s career history has been quite varied. He had spent over a decade working in a corporate environment in the banking sector. His experience there has shown him some of the challenges that people experience and the characteristics/skills that one may use to perform well in a corporate space. Additionally, his experience of shifting from banking to counselling psychology has given him insight to starting a new path and career in life.

Having graduated from the Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University, Terence applies various therapies in helping clients with various mental health issues. He has worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment disorder and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Additionally, Terence has experience working with first responders (such as firefighters and paramedics), law enforcement, and corrections officers.

Working with clients from varied backgrounds, Terence utilizes various therapies. This includes Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma related issues, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT/SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
