Whitbourne Public Library’s creation station is now refreshed and restocked for the Fall session. September, here we come! 🍎 🍏
The creation station is OPEN on
Tuesdays 1pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm
Thursdays 11am to 3pm
Saturdays 11am to 4pm
Current projects include origami (sailboats, canoes, animal bookmarks), friendship bracelets, post cards to send off to your besties, and cozy colouring books — or use the provided supplies to create your very own masterpiece! 🎨

As we transition from summer reading to fall reading fun, Whitbourne Public Library would like to take this opportunity to thank all who attended or signed up for the TD Summer Reading Club this summer.

Applications are now open for the Margaret Williams Trust Fund Award which has been established to promote the development of librarianship in Newfoundland and Labrador. Funds are awarded on a competitive basis to applicants seeking funding for library‐related projects or assistance in pursuing full-time or part-time graduate studies (online or in person) in librarianship, archival studies, or teacher librarianship.
Amount of Awards – 2026: Up to $1500.00
Deadline for application: August 31, 2026
