Toorie

Each Toorie is hand crafted from hand dyed 100% superwash merino wool. The name Toorie comes form the Shetland dialect word meaning hat.

The whole process (from bare yarn to finished hat) takes place in a cozy cabin in Whistler BC. Each Toorie is made from 100% superwash merino wool which is hand dyed and hand crafted by Emmy-Claire Johnson. I was reminded today by my beautiful colleagues, what an achievement it is to have completed my 3 years of waldorf training. I shortly after realized that I hadn’t posted this picture of the amazing people that I had the honour of graduating with. This experience and all of the people I met along the way will stick with me forever. 💛
