I’m 40 and I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that:

1. When my husband travels for work and the days I have back-to-back business calls, my kids are eating mac and cheese, nuggets, or frozen pizza.

2. I teach others to be consistent with their digital footprint and grow business accounts to 100K+ followers... but I struggle with staying consistent myself.

3. 80% of the time I have no makeup on, I’m in loungewear, hair in a messy bun, glasses on - full dork mode while running strategy calls.

4. I don’t rest, even when my body says I should. I can’t stop until I feel satisfied that I made the most of my day, mostly for others.

5. I’m sick of hearing ‘moms can’t do it all’ or that once you’re a mom you should only focus on that. I grew up surrounded by hardworking business, blue collar, and corporate moms. They did it all within their own perfection. There’s no one way to do it.

6. Some days everything works out perfectly. Other days I’m juggling 3 business calls, corporate deadlines, kids’ needs, and helping friends with their business goals all at once

7. I only take corporate roles because they genuinely need help building their digital marketing, not because it’ll be good for ME.

8. I go over the top for my kids’ experiences because I grew up really fast and want to live vicariously through their childhood memories
