Enhancing and engaging our community... with more than just books. The Wetaskiwin Public Library is located in the heart of downtown Wetaskiwin, Alberta.
Our library first opened its doors in 1928. At that time, the small library was located in a room within the Wales Hotel on Main Street in Wetaskiwin. As the library grew, it moved to many other spaces. In 1932, the library was relocated to space in the Criterion Hotel. We’re looking for donations of used books for the sale the Friends of the Wetaskiwin Library is hosting this Friday and Saturday at the library.
The Friends of the Wetaskiwin Library will be hosting a book sale on August 21st during our Wrap-up Party and August 22nd. We are now accepting books for the sale! 📚
