Effective January 1, 2026, the Government of Alberta will implement updates to the
Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) – Rural Renewal Stream (RRS).

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IN MY CASE?
How an Endorsement Letter can be used depends on when it was issued and when the Province requests confirmation.

ENDORSEMENT ISSUED BETWEEN JULY 1 AND DECEMBER 31, 2025
These endorsements are valid for one year.
• If the Province requests confirmation within one year, the Town will use one allocation spot.
• If the endorsement is more than one year old, it is considered expired, and no allocation will be used. The candidate must reapply through their employer.
