On Saturday, 155 walkers came together for the Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation's Heart & Soles Colour Walk, raising an incredible $25,000 in support of Haldimand War Memorial Hospital and Edgewater Gardens Long-Term Care.

A special shout-out goes to our amazing Dunnville Branch team for spearheading this partnership and to our entire PenFinancial family who showed up, fundraised, volunteered, and got colourful for such an important cause. We couldn't be prouder to walk alongside our community.

At PenFinancial, being Truly Local means showing up for the people and causes that matter most to our communities. 💚

One of the traditions that perfectly reflects that spirit is the annual Rankin “Run”/Walk organized by our Truly Local Ambassador all-star, Christine. Each year, Christine brings together Team PenFi for a 5KM walk/run around Merritt Island in Welland in support of the incredible Rankin Run and the critical cancer care funding it provides across Niagara.

This year, we were proud to have 18 team members and family join from our Welland, Central Services, Wealth, and Commercial teams; all coming together for a cause that has touched each of us in some way.

Christine goes above and beyond to create this special event year after year, reminding us what it truly means to care for one another, lift up our community, and lead with heart. This year our team fundraised over $800!

Supporting causes like this aligns deeply with our purpose and values. We believe banking should be about more than transactions: it should be about people, connection, and making a meaningful impact where we live and work.
