Shad Canada

It’s more than one summer.

At Shad, participants explore STEAM and entrepreneurship, turn ideas into action, take on real-world challenges, and build skills in leadership, collaboration, communication and problem-solving.

Along the way, they discover new interests, explore post-secondary possibilities and gain new perspectives on what their future could look like. And the connections they make become part of a community that continues long after the program ends.

That’s the Shad Advantage: a summer of exploration, growth and possibility that can shape what comes next.

Shad is about more than what happens during one summer.

It is a chance to explore new interests, learn alongside students from across Canada, take on unfamiliar challenges and discover new ways of thinking.

Those experiences can help students build confidence, independence and greater clarity about what may come next.

One summer can give you room to try something different.

Explore new interests. Meet people who think differently. Build something. Ask better questions. Learn more about what excites you and where you might want to go next.

Sometimes, a summer can change what feels possible.

Labs. Ideas. Challenges. Teamwork.

Shad brings worlds together. STEAM meets entrepreneurship. Classroom learning meets real-world challenges. And what you know meets what’s waiting to be discovered.

Different worlds. One Shad experience.

At Shad, three is an important number.

Snack run? Bring two friends.

Exploring campus? Same rule.

Heading to the next activity? You know the drill.

Three or more, wherever you go. If you’ve been to Shad, you know. 👀

There’s more than one way to experience Shad.

Live and learn on campus, unplug for a deeper connection, dive into the arts through STEAM, explore the program en Français, or join virtually from wherever you are.

Different paths. Different settings. One Shad experience.

Some of the best experiences start with saying yes to something new.

A new environment. A challenge you’ve never tried before. People who push your thinking. The chance to become a little more independent along the way.

Sometimes, one yes can lead somewhere unexpected.
