This past February i had the distinct honor to meet and break bread with Bishop
THEODOSIOS OF SEBASTIA popularly known as ATALLAH HANNA the Palestinian Christian prelate who has served as the ARCHBISHOP of Sebastia for the GREEK ORTHODOX Patriarchate of Jerusalem since 2005 the 2nd PalestinianArchbishop in the history of the Diocese.
We discussed mush of what the Christians are subjugated to in Jerusalem.

"Mariam Joy", the flagship project of CIDO's on-the-ground partner Mariam Foundation, truly changes children's lives. These moments of care and joy provided by trained university students to children with cancer - particularly those from Gaza and the West Bank who undergo treatment without the presence of their parents - are a precious gift.

اللقاء الإشرافي الشهري لمتطوعي مريم جوي – نابلس

في إطار المتابعة المستمرة وتعزيز جودة العمل التطوعي، تم عقد اللقاء الإشرافي الشهري لمتطوعي مريم جوي في مدينة نابلس.

ركز اللقاء على تقييم الأنشطة المنفذة خلال الفترة الماضية، ومناقشة أبرز التحديات، إضافة إلى تبادل الخبرات بين المتطوعين، بما يسهم في تطوير الأداء ورفع مستوى التأثير.

كما تم استعراض خطة العمل للفترة القادمة، بما يضمن تحقيق الأهداف وتعزيز استدامة الجهود التطوعية.

يأتي هذا اللقاء تأكيدًا على أهمية العمل الجماعي ودور المتطوعين في إحداث أثر حقيقي في المجتمع.

CIDO supports the "Mariam Joy" project through our partner, Mariam Foundation. Recently at the An-Najah Hospital in Nablus, they organized a special Ramadan iftar for children, followed by fun activities like drawing and colouring.

Dozens of children and their families participated, expressing their happiness at having Mariam Joy students by their side, providing strength and psychological support in their fight against cancer.
