Last week, Team Waterloo played in the 2026 Renshin Women’s Taikai ‼️

Congratulations to everyone that participated and to Lareina Chen, entering her first-ever tournament officially as an alum and winning first in Mudansha/Shodan and third in Teams 🏆

Two weeks ago, Waterloo alumni gathered back for our Winter 2026 EOT and to help send off our grads 👴

Thank you to everyone who came, and huge congratulations to Heron Lau, Lareina Chen, and Minji Kim!! We wish you the best in the future and hope you visit often 🤧

With the end of the Spring term this August, the Waterloo Kendo Club would like to thank everyone for an amazing summer! We’re fortunate to be able to connect with other kendo communities through tournaments such as TKC and the Montreal Taikai this year and look forward to the many more that will follow.
Our club members have also made our community here in Waterloo all the more memorable as well ✨ So, to those who have left and/or graduated, we wish you all the best in the future!

All you need to bring is yourself and comfortable clothes and we will provide the rest!
