Kitchener-Waterloo Skating Club

We are delighted to welcome 2026 Olympic gold medalists Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara of Japan to KWSC this week as they work with their coach, Bruno Marcotte, in preparation for upcoming shows and tours.

If you’re at the CFSC rink at RIM Park next week, be sure to stop by and watch these world-class athletes in action. Their talent, dedication, and passion are a reminder of what is possible through hard work and perseverance.

We would also like to welcome pair skaters Jazmine Desrochers and Kieran Thrasher, World Junior silver medalists, who have made KWSC their new home! We’re excited for our skaters to watch them train every day and be inspired by their dedication, work ethic, and pursuit of excellence as they strive to follow in the footsteps of world and Olympic champions Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara.

Having these athletes train alongside our skaters is an incredible opportunity. We are excited to learn from Riku and Ryuichi and continue growing our pair program under the guidance of KWSC coaches Bruno Marcotte, Cody Hay, and Anabelle Langlois-Hay.
