Since 1941, RCSCC WARSPITE has provided the youth (age 12-18) of Waterloo Region with a NO COST, INCLUSIVE, and EXCITING training program that fosters leadership, citizenship, teamwork, and nautical training.

The Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) is the most important ceremonial event of the training year and celebrates the accomplishments, growth, and achievements of our cadets and corps.

π Arrive in civilian attire (shoes for drill, not sandals)
ποΈ Bring your complete C1 Uniform on hangers (Cap, Tunic, Lanyard, Webbing, Shirt, Tie, Pants, Boots)
Cadets will spend the day preparing for the ceremony, rehearsing, and assisting with setup. Lunch will be provided!

All family members and guests are welcome to attend as we celebrate another successful training year.
π’ Important Notes
β’ A reception with light refreshments will follow the ceremony.
β’ A Corps Photo will be taken after the ceremony.
β’ Guests will be directed to seating by volunteers upon arrival.
β’ Cadets may depart once their assigned cleanup and breakdown tasks have been completed.
β’ We anticipate activities concluding at approximately 1630h.

β΅ Day Sail Training Weekend β 13 & 14 June 2026
This activity is only for the 20 cadets who signed up and were selected to attend.
All selected cadets will participate in both days of training at HMCS Star in Hamilton.
π Departure & Return Location: The Ship @ 316 Marsland Dr, Waterloo
β° Cadet Arrival: 0630h
π Bus Departs: 0700h SHARP
β° Pickup: 1730h (both days)
π³ Cadets must eat breakfast before arriving each morning.
π Dress: Appropriate Civilian Attire for Sailing
Cadets should wear:

β’ Closed-toe shoes that can get wet
β’ Light jacket or rain gear if required

π¦οΈ Sail Training runs rain or shine unless otherwise directed.
π Cadets should be prepared to spend most of the day outdoors and may get wet while participating in sailing activities. This weekend provides hands-on experience in dinghy sailing and is an excellent opportunity to develop seamanship skills while working as part of a crew.

This activity is ONLY for cadets who signed up and were selected to attend.
If you are unsure whether your cadet is participating, please check the list on the website or have them contact their DPO.
π IMPORTANT β WAIVER REQUIRED
Parents/guardians must sign a waiver for their cadet to attend. Waivers were sent home on 2 June, are available on the corps website, and can also be signed at drop-off on Saturday morning.

Drop-Off: Saturday, 6 June 2026 at 0600h
π Bus departs at 0630h sharp.
π³ Cadets must eat breakfast before arriving.

Pick-Up: Sunday, 7 June 2026 at 2030h
π Drop-off and pick-up are at The Ship.
Transportation to Hamilton is provided by bus.
Training will take place at HMCS Star, Hamilton.

π Cadets must wear running shoes for safety aboard the Tall Ship.
π§οΈ Bring your cadet parka shell and a sweater/hoodie for wet or cool weather. Cadets should pack two complete sets of C5 for the weekend.
