Wow, it has been such a busy season at Sound Expression! We are looking forward to spending time with family and friends over the holidays! We are closed from December 23rd to January 1st. Thank you to all of our clients and collaborating professionals for a wonderful year!

📢 CONTEST ALERT! 🎉 How many jelly bellys are in this jar? @jellybellycandyco To celebrate May being Better Speech and Hearing Month, we have a contest! In our clinic, clients can guess how many jelly bellys fill this jar to win the jar with the closest guess. For our community online, we will have a separate contest to guess the number of jelly bellys, and if you come closest we will send you a surprise in the mail. Please comment below on this post with your guess! We will announce winners after May 31st. Rules: -Must have a Canadian address to mail to -One entry per person please!

It has been a busy week getting ready for our move on Friday! We will be closed on Friday April 21st for the move and re-opening on Tuesday April 25th in our new space.

EXCITING NEWS!!!

Sound Expression is MOVING to a new home in April! We aren’t going far, though….we will be around the corner from our old home!

Our new address will be 550 Parkside Drive, Unit B9, Waterloo. When you enter the complex, we are in the building on the left side. There is parking directly in front of our unit.

We are moving on Friday, April 21st and we will be prepared to welcome you in the new space on Tuesday, April 25th.

We will keep you updated as we prepare for the move. Please reach out if you have any questions at all.

Phone lines and internet are down at the office but our in person sessions are not impacted! See you soon!

Our current COVID protocols remain in place, as we are regulated health care providers and fall under healthcare guidelines.



-Masks must be worn in the clinic for clients, parents/spouses, and staff.



-COVID screenings must be completed prior to each session.



-Cleaning will occur between client sessions.

We love learning and what better way to learn than to spend time with other clinicians?! Today we are talking about all things apraxia. All our staff are spending the day with Brooke Rea, SLP and Owner of Childhood Apraxia & Speech Therapy Guelph. We are honoured to be learning from Brooke. Her knowledge and experience in the areas of Motor Speech Disorders and Childhood Apraxia of Speech is extensive and we know it will be a day full of current research and evidence based principles about motor speech assessment and therapy. We are all excited to learn more to improve how we deliver motor speech therapy.

What a great way to end the first week of a return to learning for our students.
