Yesterday, our incoming President and I (incoming VP Membership) attended the TLI to take Club Officer Training. In addition to our training we got to network with fellow Club Officers from across the district, got to hear a presentation on the Keys To Success by the incomparable Neil Dunsmore had an excellent (even healthy) lunch and after lunch got to hear District 86 International Speech Contest winner Jose Vivar talk about his experiences joining a Toastmaster Club while still in prison. If you are a club officer, check the dates at the District 86 website http://www.toastmasters86.org/events/officer-training/summer-officer-training-phase-1 and plan when you will take training for your role. Clubs with officers that get trained are the clubs that survive and thrive.
